We traveled across Russia by train, from St Petersburg to Siberia. What a great journey. The people were friendly and helpful, the scenery was magnificent and the places we stopped in along the way gave us a beautiful insight into the Russian rural way of life. Russia

I was lucky enough to be chosen by Fujifilm to promote their XF23mm F2 lens with the X-Pro2 camera. We took the camera gear to Sarawak where I was working on a chapter of my long term photographic project about contemporary village life world-wide.
Australian filmmaker David Callow was commissioned by Fujifilm to produce a documentary about the project. David spent a number of days filming and recording me as I photographed the Melanau community in Dalat, a little village along the banks of the Oya River in the Malaysian part of Borneo.
